It`s great weather to get out and garden but I don`t really want to. It sucks having to force myself to do things I use to enjoy doing.

Fall flats are fine, I have a rotating storage for those at the door..but my boots...man, those are proving a hassle. I want them to be near the door, otherwise I'm too lazy to go to the laundry room and get the shoes. But no room! I have them lined up as neatly as I can, but I still ave a few pairs in the laundry room. :(
At least I only have 4 pairs of winter boots......right?
And let's not mention the kids have 2 pairs of boots each (rain and then dressier Fall or Winter). Too many boots? >.>

Someone has a two-riser step in pre-cast concrete at the end of the driveway. A one riser step is next to it. Obviously part of a prior back door setup (two anchor holes, some discolouration) but steps are not solid-they are about 1 inch thick form and hollow on the back and bottom.
Dilemma-would love free steps but they are not the same colour as the landing and two no arm strength/car of my own to collect them. Sigh-it's like an opportunity is winking at me the same week I was looking online for a place that sells such steps. WishIWasMikeHolmesTonight.
Cashiers who can't do basic math and who don't trust the cash register
My receipt total was $3.95. I gave her four dollars.
Obviously, 5 cents is my change. She thought about it for quite some time, even though the cash register told her that it was the correct change. She gave me the 5 cents. Then called me back to re-read my receipt because she was not sure if 5 cents should be my change.
Then she thought about it some more before finally letting me leave.
I would've much preferred she keep the five cents than think about it for the loooooong time it took her to figure it out. She was nice about it, but this is simple, child math
Now I feel dumb,:yikes: same thing has been happening to me but I thought it was because of the white rubber thing that goes around that has lost its suction ( don't know proper name, anyone?) But I don't have too much food, I have too much :icescream:Quote:

^Cata, that rubber thing is the door seal. If it does not seal properly then your fridge or freezer is getting warm air inside. Maybe an overloaded freezer is causing the door not to close fully. Time to eat some ice cream to be sure!
Sdm didnt send personalized emails today. This week is going to be so boring without THE email and my husband. (He is going away for 8 days) :(
