Thread: heavy kraft paper on a roll
-
Mon, Aug 13th, 2012, 03:51 PM #1
I need help finding the cheapest price for heavy kraft paper on a roll... colour is not as important as price. I have searched online and the prices vary widely from 28 to 90 dollars for a roll of several hundred to a thousand feet.
I am hoping someone might have some insider information ... its like the paper that the butcher used to use
thanks in advance for any advice

the ikea idea is awesome ... almost what I need but I need a bit heavier paper and the drawing paper is very thin. I am going to make gift bags for the womens shelter out of it so it has to be strong enough to handle the weight of shampoo bottles

I was going to say the ikea paper would be too thin as my daughter has it.

Are you thinking like a heavy brown paper? If so, I've seen that at the dollarstore and Michael's; I actually bought 3 rolls at Michael's on clearance once upon a time. (I use to roll it out to tape to the floor and let my kids draw roads and towns on it.) The clearance price was $2-3 for a roll (like a thick roll of Christmas wrap), regular price was at least twice that.
