My juice boxes I bought today August 12, 2012 expire in 3 day (lol) sucks to be me!
SO after posting the thread about .99 Minute Juice boxes I headed out to WM and only found 4 packs.
I got home and was putting 3 away when I looked the expiration date Aug. 15, 2012 (oh dear) I was getting these for back to schoool. SO I called WM and told them I would be by next week to exchange them.
I normally always check the expiration dates but this one certainly got away! This thread is currently associated with: N/A2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I've consumed juice that was expired by several months...it didn't kill me. That said, I wouldn't want to pay full price for something that was expired either.

If it was something you've had in your pantry for awhile, I'd say they would be fine to use. But since you just bought them, I think it's a good idea to take them back, not because they aren't safe, but because they aren't fresh and some of the nutrients may have broken down.
The dates on the boxes aren't actually "expiry dates." They are "best before" dates, meaning that the freshness and quality of the juice can't be guaranteed after that date, but they are still safe to drink. Here's the Canadian info on how products are labeled: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/food/con.../1332357545633

as long as the item is sealed they always last much longer then the expiry dates. Especially with juices I always look for ones about to expire and 50% off . They have never given me a problem and as 1 person mentioned if you are going to keep them for a long tome, freeze them.
