Jeans!
Today I popped over to the local SA thift store & hit gold.
I found 1 pair of jeans for my 13 yr old - a pair of Gap jeans that retail for $74 - I paid $9
Then I found 2 pairs for my 14 yr old - Guess jeans - one pair retails at $108, and the other pair at $158 - I paid $7 & $9 respectively.
Without bothering with taxes for the retail stuff, I saved more than $300 for jeans that looked immaculate, no tears, no loose threads - you'd swear they were brand new.

You paid less than what you would have paid for JUST the tax on those jeans if you had bought them retail :omg:
And best of all I bet yours kids are thrilled to bits!
Fabulous shop, major good eye for labels:top:

Thanks everyone, I'll certainly be paying a few more visits in the coming weeks to see if they get more stuff in the boys sizes.
The kids really don't _know_ labels the way I have seen other teens just HAVE to have certain brand name items as I have never once shopped in those type of stores. As a former single Mom of 4 kids I always have, and always will shop carefully and that nixes ever buying 'designer' stuff at full price (or even half price!).
If they want fancy expensive things like that, they can get jobs & pay for it themselves lol
