I got a Smartsource insert in the paper today.

My husband insists he saw this at work yesterday & claims they were all 50c coupons & it "looked like a Walmart flyer" but there was none delivered in the Moose Jaw papers so we don't know where it even came from

The $ value on these coupons is quite low. .50 cents on 10 cans of Fancy Feast.

Really? .05 cents per can savings?

Anyone notice the weird wording on the Resolve coupon? "Save $0.50 on select Resolve Stain Remover Products* *See ad for details" I don't see anywhere on the coupon itself what products it is valid on, other than the small picture of products. Are we actually supposed to keep the Walmart ad to show cashiers?? The ad for Resolve is on the back of the coupon page, so the list of participating products is on the back of the Fancy Feast coupon! I'm probably not going to use it (got enough free Resolve from those $2 coupons!) but it just seems like a really odd thing to put on a coupon. The least they could have done was arranged it so that that part of the ad was on the back of the Resolve coupon!

I got one in my newspaper too....Hamilton Spec.

But , im not thrilled....alot of them have size/product restrictions l(sunlight one...only good on the supersize bottles, Whiskas & Pedigree only good on 8kg or up, resolve only good on select products) alot of them are buy 1 product and get $$ off another product. (Beneful,ziploc) and the one for 50 cents off when you purchase 10 cans of fancy feast gourmet cat food??? So you're saving 5 cents off each can.

I generally think any coupon is a good coupon, but some of them are really not that great and seem really restrictive.

I also got mine this morning. It looks like the new ziplocs sandwich bags 100's have save $3 on bread in them, and it says they are on rollback for $2.27. It would make sense to use the .50 off coupon here.

but the coupon for the ziploc isn't save 50 cents on bags, it's buy the bags at full price and get 50 cents off when you purchase a ziploc container.

And the whole "save up to $70" on the front cover is very misleading.
I am assuming they're adding in the rollback price difference plus coupons to equal that insane dollar value of savings!

This one says smart source "magazine" and the other ss says smart source.ca, I've got both sitting in front of me so I do believe the "extra" inserts they were talking about are going to be this "magazine" editions.

I found the magazine version at McDonald's in their free paper on Sunday.

I noticed the difference between the "SmartSource.ca" and "SmartSource Magazine" as well, even though, as mentioned, the 'magazine' says the next issue is August 25, 2012 (which would be the regular SmartSource).

I agree with Slaney, the 'magazine' definitely looks to be sponsored by Walmart.
