I was out with my kids today. We were waiting in a line to ride a train, and I was dealing with my 2 oldest to get them moving forward so I could get my 5 YO up to move forward. He was sitting on the ground, playing. As I turn to get him up I look down at him and notice that the lady that is in line behind us is kicking my son in the leg with her foot.
I SNAPPED.
I started yelling at that women, telling her to stop kicking my kid before I came over there and kicked her.
She then had the nerve to try to justify kicking my son by saying she was trying to get him to move.
First, who is anyone to touch a complete strangers child....second, it is my job as his mother to deal with him, not hers, so unless I am walking away and leaving him there on his own, she has no right to do anything to my kid and if she wants him to move she can either wait a second for me to deal with it or ask me to deal with it.
WHO IN THE f&&& DOES SHE THINK SHE IS??????
She is so lucky I am not a violent person. She is even luckier that someone stepped in between me and her because if they had not and she would have kept talking I just may have.

That's disgusting. Why do adults think kicking a child is ok in any circumstance. Did she not have a mouth to speak with?

Sheeesh! I hate when adults treat other people's kids disrespectfully. Not acceptable by any standard and I would have done the same thing!

It would have been perfect if your son got up and kicked her right in the shin.
You want him to move, you got it.
People are way too impatient. The best things in life...aren't things

Good god, I'd be afraid even bending down and saying "Hon, I think your mom is trying to get your brothers/sisters up in line for the train. You should move up closer to her, you don't want to get separated!", because I don't want to cross a line.
If somebody was KICKING my kid, I would absolutely LOSE IT. Good for you for not actually kicking her back.
