Thats very mature, I must say.

It probably would have been easier to just move out of the way when it was safe and let the truck pass you. I don't think anyone likes having these big trucks riding there tail on the highway. I will always let them pass me whenever possible. Not worth ruining your day over.

big trucks have a schedual to keep to and if they are behind they need to make up for it...so ya just let them pass, stay to the right lane as the right lane is the "slow lane" and well on the hiway anyone actualy obaying the speed limit is going slow. Here the speed on the hiway is 120 so its not uncommon for people to go 140. A lot of roads here are between 80 to 100 km/h in the city.

Your life is more important than any schedule.

Its better to arrive late than in a coffin.

driving a few km over the speed limit on a clear dry road will not make you arive in a coffin.

What makes me crazy is that people drive 10 under the speed limit until they get to a passing lane..then they speed up to 105 or 110 and as soon as they are out of the passing lane, they slow back down to 85 or so....every day this happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! argggg!!!!

Yes it will , when others are following the speed limit and you are not.

On the highway , all it takes is the kiss of death to kill someone . you don't have to hit someone at those speeds to get killed , just touching someone is enough to send their car out of control.

You travel a lot of distance even if you are few km's over the speed limit.

The OP never said that the truck was going a few kms over .

How do you define few ? 5 km , 10 km , 20 km, 40 km ..how few is ok ?

true but a transport truck riding the tail of a car isn't exactly smart. Im sure the driver of the Transport understands that his truck weighs about 24,000 lbs, (if it's empty and about 80,000 lbs if it's full depending on the cargo) and can't exactly stop on a dime. So he shouldn't be irresponsible enough to put himself and the driver in front of him in a dangerous situation.
