Maxi has Bagel-fuls on sale for $2. We had 2 and scans at 2.34. We were at self checkout so weren't holding up the line. Show the cashier the flyer and cashier tells me she had the same problem this morning and someone was supposed to have fixed this problem. Anyways, she calls someone, waiting, waiting, waiting, then tells me that what I bought is not on sale, so I don't get SCOP. Took the box to the cashier, the box and size is exactly what is pictured in the flyer. Cashier tells me she was told not to do it, I asked who do I talk to to complain, she said she will call again and then got the go ahead. Got one box for free, and the other for $2.

It seems a lot of the stores try to get out of the SCOP anyway possible. They even go as far as changing the price at the shelf when you're waiting for the price check. If they are going to be part of the SCOP program, them they should play by the rules. Good for you to stick to your guns and get your freebie!
