I went into a McDicks for my DH( I don't consider that stuff food , so I don't eat there) and was disgusted to see flies crawling all over the muffins. I tried filing a complaint on the listed numbers and kept getting a machine saying call back later.

Yeah...I always check in the back even in counter or drive service...they always forget something...1 time was with a friend....and they forget the softdrink...I asked for a large I got a small......

And ..the mediterraneen wrap witch have feta correctly in those now is now out of the menu...promo finish...huh 2 days ago they have it...always something at mcdo who bother me...

I was wondering, if you ask for 10 and they say there is 10, could you possibly drive into the parking lot, check for 10, and go back through the drive through with your receipt?
That way, you are not going home and finding out that you are short.
That way you have the receipt and the employee is still probably on shift.

Or walk into the restaurant so you can check the bag at the counter, to see if the 10 you ordered are in the bag.

I'd just talk to the manager and ask him or her if they could order an extra case for you, and just pay for it and take it home in the sealed case.

We won't do that, I promise! Many people have tried, but McDs refuses to sell it's products (people have BEGGED for cases of mac sauce). Our supplier won't even sell it privately. There is absolutely no way to order any of McDs products in bulk

To OP:

Check your bag before you leave the window. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. There is incredible pressure put on us (McDs employees) by both customers and head office, though I do understand it's very frustrating that buddy told you "yes" when you asked him if there were 10 sauces in the bag (and it SHOULD have been him double checking that bag to ensure it's accuracy).

If you want to be compensated for the error, look up the number in your local phone book. Contacting head office will do nothing, they will just route it back to the original store to handle. You will probably be offered a free meal or two when you call.


As for the comment by someone else about the flies on the muffins.... didn't you hear? Our new slogan is "Would you like flies with that?"

Huh. I got a cup of bigmac sauce once. I suppose because it doesn't come in individual packets and I told them we like dipping fries in it that's why they let us buy it.

she was talking about ordering a case of the sauce to take home. they dont do that. You simply oredered a side of the mac sauce with your meal. they do do that. I worked at mcdonalds years and years ago...alot of people like to dip fries in the mac sauce lol

I had to contact Mcdonalds via their twitter page in order to get them to contact me since they didn't have a 1-800 # posted on their site. After the lady listened to my issue I ended up getting a $25 gc sent to me for my "troubles".

Why wouldn't you just call the actual store?! Such a simple solution instead of running around trying to contact corporate McDs (even I don't know how to get in contact with them, and I've been working at McDs for 9 years!)

I can't believe they are actually sending you a $25 GC for your "troubles" seems like a bit much for missed nugget sauce, but good for you!
