No, I don't think it's odd at all about the cc. If she's always used to being with him, she may not have needed/wanted one. Everyone's circumstances are just so different.

She appeared in domestic violence court Tuesday morning; it was set aside til that afternoon, where she didn't attend.
"Defense lawyer Leslie Sullivan appeared on her behalf, confirming that the charge of endangering the safety of an aircraft had been dropped.
"The Crown withdrew the charge under Section 77 of the Criminal Code. Instead the two charges now are causing a disturbance and uttering threats," said Sullivan.
"We've just adjourned until tomorrow afternoon (Wed.). Mr. Miazga (crown prosecutor) and I need to review more disclosure that's still ongoing."

The case been adjourned until Sept. 18, when Senseberger is expected to enter a plea.
After some deliberations, Crown Prosecutor Matthew Miazga consented to ammend the no contact order to allow Sensenberger and Zimmer to contact each other only by telephone, text, email or other electronic communication device, or through a member of a law society.
Judge Albert Lavoie agreed to allow the couple to talk online or over the phone. Physical contact is still forbidden.
Her lawyer, Leslie Sullivan said Sensenberger will not plead guilty.

Well, it's all over and done.
Sep 20, 2012 12:04pm, Saskatoon NewsTalk Radio
"A Manitoba senator's wife has pleaded guilty to causing a disturbance on an Air Canada flight.
However, the charge of uttering threats against her husband was withdrawn.
Sensenberger was given a 12-month suspended sentence with probation.
During Sensenberger’s year of probation, she will have to take part in addictions assessment and follow through with suggest treatment. This could include in-patient or out-patient treatment or Alcoholics Anonymous. If recommended by her probation officer, she will have to take part in personal counseling including anger management. Sensenberger must also pay a $50 surcharge."
She explains why the disturbance was caused
