I am always amazed at the transactions people post on here. Saturday and Sunday is bonus days again and i just want to know how does one decide what to buy to get the most out of their points and coupons?

I have about 89000 points. I dont really need anything desperately. How to decide when and what to buy? Any guidance? I have never redeemed points before.

It's really a personal decision what you buy. My own plan when I redeem points is to buy groceries we need or will use but they must be at a good price (not just buying for the sake of buying) and then a "treat" that I wouldn't want to pay oop for such as makeup that I don't really need. Today I redeemed 95,000 points and got the usual milk, bread, butter, etc and then dh's after shave ($109.00!) and new eyelash curler for me. If you want to redeem 95,000 points you could first purchase 4 Dairy Milk chocolate bars for the 8,000 points promo to get you to that level. Or if you don't have a shopping list of items totalling $220 you could redeem at a lower level. Good luck and happy shopping.
    Silk and ssbean like this.

Today I redeemed for the PS3 as it is cheaper than buying a BluRay payer.
I used to redeem for diapers all the time but the kids are almost trained.
Next time I will be concentrating on grocery items and vitamins that we use.
