I've used the free AVG virus software for about 10 years now.
It updates everyday and I've never had a problem.
Knock on wood, I've never been infected with a virus.

AVG is okay, I use Avast and Avira, which both have higher rates. Remember, this was wasn't meant to be forever, if it was, I wouldn't have let Norton on. It's overrated, imo.

I use Avast, Spybot search & destroy and have just the free basic Zone Labs for my firewall. Then once a month or so I run my RegistryFix.
I used to use AVG but I read on their forums too many complaints about the new version, so I decided to change over to Avast. I like it so far.

If you want, I'll store everyone's viruses on my hard drive for them. Give me as much as you want. They'll be totally dormant. Just like an ordinary text file.
