Well to start he has ADHD and is currently on no med's. We have been trying to find the right med's for him and this current one turned him into a zombie. So I stopped it and put a call into Dr's office to get him back on ritalin. But of course the doctor is off for a week. So we are trying to keep him very busy to try to keep him calm. He also has a lot of signs of aspergers, but the doctor was not able to diagnose him with this. So we are currently just trying to get a handle on the ADHD and if that does not seem to take care of all the difficulties with him then the next step is to see a psychologist. And they might be able to give us an idea of what is going on.
I'm sure that is a lot more then what you wanted to know. But that sums up my little man. We love him. But his behaviours are a huge stress and also they can be a blessing.

On a side note all WL are posted and a PM has been sent to all the riders

If it's any consolation, drs are rarely ever able to diagnose Asperger's. You're better off seeing a child psychologist or someone through the school. Assessments are pricey but well worth it and then his teachers will be able to get him the right plan in place for his education!

Thanks for the piece of info. I had no idea that Dr's rarely diagnosed Aspergers. That would explain why the Dr basically told us our son has it upon our first meeting, but then when he did the testing he said he passes with flying colours. We have an appointment at the end of October to see how things are going. I think I am going to ask to be refered to a child psychologist. Just recently my son has become extremely paranoid and it is really conserning me. It's to the point where he is literally afraid of everything. His fears have become so bad that he will not leave the house unless someone is with him, he won't even go in the basement or the garage to get something if I ask. It's really sad to see. These last few weeks of the summer he has spent just sitting on the couch to afraid to do anything, hw won't even go out to play with the neighbouhood kids.
