Lola’s RAOK Challenge & Exchange Train

After reading a blog the other day, it inspired me to perform more Random Acts Of Kindness, which in turn got me thinking I should host an RAOK train! You can view the blog that inspired me here: http://ticklestogiggles.blogspot.ca/2010/05/my-birthday-was-awesome.html

Part One of the train is the RAOK Challenge:
Riders will perform at least one RAOK and post it in the thread. Please post a picture whenever possible. Be creative! At the end of the train, we’ll host a contest for the best RAOK. I will send the winner a special prize!

Part two of the train is the RAOK exchange:
I will randomly give each rider a buddy that will have to send an RAOK to (well not so random but you get the point). You must have a trade rating of 15 or more with no negatives.

**There will be NO wishlists for this!!**

Riders will have to search and learn about their buddy in order to send them something wonderful. For example; you see your buddy posted they want to see a specific movie, you could send them a copy/dvd or movie ticket or perhaps you want to keep it to coupons, you can search all your buddy’s wishlist and make a great envie for them. Again be creative and spoil your buddy!!!

Riders will be required to send me their username, real name & info and a few lines about themselves to give their buddy a bit of a start.

Mail date will THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 13, 2012

**The point of this train is kindness so please don’t join unless you plan to be kind. There is no minimum requirement for sending, but I really don’t want to see people sending crappy envies in order to get something great in return. **

-I have strict rules to ensure that all riders are happy with my trains. If you blatanly don't follow the rules, I will return your original envie using your BP and bump you from the train. I do my best to be fair and reasonable and I expect my riders to do the same.
-Please dont copy & paste my trains. Ideas can always be borrowed but you should be able to write out your own train!!! Copying and adding in or changing bits is still copying.
-If you have rode any of my trains and have not left feedback, you may not ride another train until you leave any missed ratings

I've been on an RAOK binge. I've been sending out at least 1 RAOK a week to other SCers . It makes my day to send a smile to someone else!

what a wonderful way to spend a day!

We're working hard to ensure our kids grow up knowing how lucky they really are, and how important it is to give back and contribute to society.....I think we may be following in that blogger's footsteps and trying a RAOK day....what a great way to teach the kids about community, compassion, and kindness!!

thanks so very kind of you, I totally want to get my kids more involved with RAOK, we do alot already, however, this will be great exposure that warms the heart.

That story or blog was inspirational to say the least. Kindness & generosity are so important these days, I think society has become overwhelmed and selfish in so many ways.....it's great to make people smile and happy especially when it's an unexpected.

OMG I did the EXACT same thing for my neighbors today too!! I made way too many chocolate peanut butter cupcakes today (first time trying and super yummy btw) and brought a big plateful next door just cause. I have great neighbors so figured why not share the chocolately love
