Rice crispies are as close to whole food as you can get, oatmeal is great too, but for school that would kind of hard. Special K makes some really good cereals now days too with berries and fruits added, they still have some sugars, like the oat cluster one, but the sugar comes from honey so its much better than "chilcrens" cereals that are coated in sugar and frosting. Mini Wheats is another good one, and is Cheerios. My kids love the apple cinnamon ones, again, they have some sugar but they are whole grain. Also, regardless of which cereal you choose, cereal should be eaten a few times a week, not daily in order to get a balanced diet over all.
