Thank you all so much. You're kind words let me know how terrific our SC family is. I would like to have liked each comment, but until I'm on my laptop again....I have to use an iPhone. Which by the way cannot dial out or receive calls since calling 911 with it. If anyone knows how to fix that I would be grateful! Lol. I'm a little shaken, but realize the most important things are here safe with me. Here's to hotel life for the next little while. I probably won't be on here again until tomorrow some time. So glad to hear you and your family are safe! Cally is one of the best traders on SC....and even when her house catches fire, she is so decent she comes to tell everyone about their envies.

Hope you get the insurance sorted out and get to move home soon! I'm sure no one minds about the trades so focus on moving on for now!

Thanks everyone - reading all these really touches my heart. The last 48hrs have been exhausting, but have really put things into perspective. We went by the house last night to see if there was any mail (two save.ca envies - rebuliding starts! ) and the city has already cut any hanging branches and cut up the giant branch that fell..so it was nice to see that. I couldn't go into the house last night - just too emotional right now. Today we have had a couple of cleaners in just so the electrician can come and hook a power source. The house will still remain dead - in regards to the power, but it will give them a starting point. We've been told our entire house has to be emptied (either pitched or has to go to storage) than it has be cleaned from top to bottom. My poor stock pile was trashed too - going to try to salvage some of it, but when they go and do an inventory they're going to flip seeing the amount of TIDE I have, ziploc, toilet paper etc. I just hope they replace it all. So many questions - never been through this before. That's pretty much it for now. Like I said I will try to get back to everyone as soon as possible.
