    So my husband needs to get a CPAP machine and it was ordered to SDM. There was a pamphlet that came with the info about the machine that promoted that you received optimum points with this purchase. We have yet to pay for the unit. I was wondering if we went and paid for it on a 20X day, would I receive that on a 600$ item? that would be pretty awesome. I can't see the reasoning for them to not allow it-if I went in and made a regular 600$ purchase it would be awarded...right? Any thoughts?

    Holy moley....this is one time when it will really pay to do your research. If you are able to receive Optimum points it will take away some of the sting of such a expensive (but vital) purchase.

    There is no 20X points for the home health so if you can get the item at a regular shoppers (even if you need to have themorder it in for you) then you can do it.

    Thats just the portion that we have to pay (and submit to our benefits) apparently the gov't covers the other portion. Total cost was over 1000$ for the unit! But he needs it so it is worth the cost

    I'll have to ask him where he got it from. Ive never seen the home health "store" I always thought it was like the pharmacy (attached at the back) Hopefully they won't want a payment before the next 20x day. I hope this works--that would be pretty awesome.
