Both Zellers and Wal Mart are clearing out their patio stuff as summer is almost over.

I'm trying to track down a cute little 3 piece set, would like cast or wrought iron. I haven't seen any good deals, except for the leftover ugly stuff.

you might be a little too late to buy patio furniture by now. I was looking for them about 2 weeks ago and most stores didn't have any left, they removed them already as it is the end of the season. Rona had some but they were regular price.

I agree, it maybe already a bit too late... Last year we were shopping for patio set and i was looking for deals too. I was veeery surprised to find a very good quality, solid table and 4 chairs (wood/aluminium) at The Bay in their furniture department. It was at the end of July and everything was already reduced by 60% off.

Got a great deal on a 4 piece metal set from home depot (two chairs with cushions, love seat with cushions, and glasstop table) for $99 + tax free delivery.

We actually scored a good deal during the patio selling season - $149.00 which included a large glass top table and six chairs, so you may find waiting until the next season the best when some stores will put out last years stock/overstock on reduced prices.

One thing to consider - we made sure to buy stacking chairs because we store them inside during the winter season to get a longer life out of them. The last set we had we kept outdoors under a covered deck but the chairs weathered horribly.... We noticed quite a few patio sets with chairs that didn't stack so that would require a lot more space to store them.

I would like something like this:
    http://www.amazon.com/Windsor-Dark-A...d_sim_sbs_hg_1

Except I can't buy it online, shipping would be insane I am guessing, because the stuff is heavy.

@tobiwobi - How much would you be willing to spend on a set like that?

Hi Matt, do you have one? I probably would have ordered something like that straight from amazon except they don't offer it here (the link with free shipping is for US only). I've been trying to track one down on kijiji, I've seen them posted anywhere from $50 to $300 depending on condition.

Canadian Tire has one, I should have bought it when they had it on sale at $120

Hi tobiwobi, I don't personally have a patio set to offer you. I was just interested in knowing what's popular for patio dining sets.

You'll have to keep an eye out on Kijiji.ca. Have you looked on Rona.ca? They have some 3 piece sets, but could be a bit more expensive.
