    Anybody else notice the date of the sale? Is this the same time as Walmart's Anniversary sale? If so, I hope that other stores jump on to the Canadian Tire sales band wagon, and have some other great sales that week. Here's hoping....

    Thanks for letting us in on this osirus! A little warning on scratch card purchases: don't buy anything you may have to return later. I bought something that was about $25 and had to return it because it wasn't working. Not only did the customer service girl not let me get something else for the $5 I had legitimately scratched, but I had to fight with her and call a manager to get a full refund. For some reason the computer wanted to give me back less money than I had actually given OOP and she thought it was fine because the computer said so. I wasn't walking out with less money than I paid. Learned my lesson.

    So my tip: Stick to cleaning supplies or food or other items that can't malfunction and stay close to $5.
