Argh Lynn...its hard loosing the ones we love.
Take the time you need to morn her loss...don't rush...sit, reflect, remember....
Laugh, cry, frown, speak, smile.... and then heal.... allow yourself to feel, so that you can heal.
One day it won't hurt as much as it does now... Time is a great healer....
So give yourself the time you need to mourn, so that you can heal .

Thank you, Luv...I really thought I had come to terms with her loss and that the service would help heal, bring closure, but that still hasn't happened. Perhaps I'm trying to rush through the process. It's only been 2 months since she passed away; having experienced the loss of loves ones before, I know it hurts less and that the hurt gets replaced with beautiful memories, but that just hasn't happened, yet...Sorry to bring it all up again, folks.....I guess I'm just wrung out from the service and the drive there and back with hubby....gosh, what would I do without him?

Lynn, lean on him, that's why he's there!

Having the service so long after she passed away has just rekindled everything, so don't think in terms of time - just let the natural process happen - it will change with ebbs and flows...
    And crying is healing.

Thank you, Natalka...I never thought of it that way: opening old wounds...even tho' they weren't that old...I guess they weren't healed, either.

Thank you, Sunshine....he's my rock...he's the one I reach for when I'm either on the ceiling or in the dumps...yep, we all have 'those' moments. Yes, the whole service was touching, I think...I put quite a lot of work into it and the eulogies by her siblings were really the icing on the cake. I could do funerals here, but I'm not sure I'm ready for them...I'll stick to weddings for now..
    Thanks, Hon....

I'm having a great day - got to pow wow with my fellow blogger, Jax... and one of my favourite people!

She's hosting a really cool giveaway on her blog - two cuppow & BNTO/

If you've never seen these before, they are BPA-Free plastic lids & adaptors that can be added to your mason jar for lunches. I have a wide-mouth cuppow and it is totally wicked for coffee in the morning.

Jump over here & enter to win....
