Seeing as I haven't been on in a while...
1. What made you join SC?
I was coming on to view the flyers and wanted to say thanks to those who posted them.

2: What is your favourite time of day?
5:30 - 7:00 am. I get out of bed at 5, and by 5:30 I'm often off exercising or outside for a walk. The morning is phenomenally beautiful and underrated... especially when you get it all to yourself!

3: Coffee or Tea?
Tea - green tea, specifically. I only drink coffee at funerals.

4: Last thing you ate?
Homemade granola and almond milk for breakfast

5: If you were a crayon what colour would you be? (list here)
As a kid, my favourite was an orangey-red colour.

6: You have just been given $100 as a gift - what would you do with it?
Buy some stuff off kijiji; I've been buying all my baby supplies there

7: Favourite toppings on a pizza?
Mushrooms and cheese... the more mushrooms the better!

8: What is on your mouse pad?
I don't own one.

9: Farthest you have been from home?
China (went with my sis and Dad in 2009)

10: Do you like your handwriting?
I have never really thought about it; I can't say I have any complaints

I too was a lurker who finally decided to join so I could take part in the conversations.

Probably around sunset....but only if it's one of those bright orange/pink/purple sunsets!

Either/or. I tend to drink more tea though....especially peppermint!

Any of the bright blues! I'm obsessed with any colors that resemble blue skies, or that awesome color you get on tropical beaches!

Head to Value Village....I'm in desperate need of some new shirts.

Cheese.....I only get cheese and pepperoni....and then I pick off the pepperonis, lol.

Sadly, I've never been out of Ontario

Absolutely not! It's horrendous....and still looks exactly like it did when I signed my library card at the age of 5!! lol

I had been lurking for a long time and finally decided to join when I wanted to trade some coupons.

2: What is your favourite time of day?
I like 5:30 am when I get up and go for a run before anyone else is awake, but the evening when I get to be with my family is by far the best time of day.

3: Coffee or Tea?
Coffee!!!! Tea is nasty.

4: Last thing you ate?
An apple. What I really wanted to eat: reeses pieces. But I also need to fit into a dress for an upcoming wedding. Sigh.

5: If you were a crayon what colour would you be?
Plum

Take my family out for supper, or put it toward the family holiday!

Sadly, I can't have pizza due to allergies to yeast and cheese. However, back when I was little and still could have pizza, I LOVED this BBQ Chicken Pizza my mom made. It was to die for.

No mouse pad....

9: Farthest you have been from home?
Ohau.

10: Do you like your handwriting?
I don't mind my printing, but I'm not a fan of my writing.

1. What made you join SC?
I came across a post by an SCer having problems with her dog and her child. When I was apprenticing as a dog trainer, a similar scenario came up, so I joined to give this individual some advice (my suspicions were right, in that the dog was reacting to the child's medical condition - dog eventually came around to being calm with the child, where she'd been frightened before).

2: What is your favourite time of day?
Depends. I'm a night hawk, so after midnight usually. Unless, someone wakes me up extra early to watch the sunrise, then I'm too tired to enjoy the witching hour.

3: Coffee or Tea?
Neither. Which doesn't explain why I have half a dozen flavoured coffees & several types of tea on hand. & the only coffee that doesn't taste like dirt is Coffee Crisp.

4: Last thing you ate?
Watermelon. Which I had to share with Lily dog (Quincy cat tried to take some away from her, but realized how yucky it tasted & spit it out at her).

5: If you were a crayon what colour would you be? (list here)
As a kid, the first crayon I reached for was Burnt Sienna, these days I think I'm more of a blue gal (it saddens me that so many of my old faves are "retired" )

6: You have just been given $100 as a gift - what would you do with it?
If there's any money left over after I fill the freezer with the liver I'd have to buy for my roommates, I'd buy a DVD. Maybe one season of Murder She Wrote (Vee, wanna come over??? ).

Pesto sauce (my tomato allergy seems to be getting worse).

8: What is on your mouse pad?
A photo I took of my friend's cat & her 4 kittens.

Saqqara. Gotta love a place that's 7000 yrs old.

Depends on how badly my hands are shaking that day.

1. What made you join SC? My sister was saving buckets of money using coupons. I simply had to learn!!
2: What is your favourite time of day? Mornings.
3: Coffee or Tea? Both; just...at different times. Starbucks bold coffee in the morning; green tea in the evening.

5: If you were a crayon what colour would you be? (list here) #27 in the standard issue crayons: Cerulean blue

Nighttime! I HATE MORNINGS. With a passion. And yet, I work in the school board.

I love this idea, and I'm so excited to learn about people!! It's all these little things that make us all unique and I have loved reading everyone's answers!! I feel new still so I'm loving this thread!

1. What made you join SC?

I saw the Extreme Couponing show on TLC and figured we must be able to do something comparable in Canada with coupons, so I googled Canadian Coupons and this was the first site that came up! I used the site for months without signing up just for the coupons database, and then joined because I really wanted to start trading and learning better what coupons were out there!

2: What is your favourite time of day?

Right after the kids go to bed at 7, when I get to workout like a crazy person and feel good about myself for a few minutes!

3: Coffee or Tea?

Oh my GOSH coffee!! From Detour Coffee Roasters in Dundas! I grind the beans every morning and it's heaven in my cup. I will always pay full price for their coffee because I don't want them to go out of business!!

4: Last thing you ate?

I had corn on the cob, cauliflower mash and garlic chicken!

5: If you were a crayon what colour would you be? (list here)

The bottom line is I would be one of the newer multi-coloured models, likely a nice mix of Hot Magenta and Midnight Blue!

6: You have just been given $100 as a gift - what would you do with it?

I would hide it from my DH because he spends my money as soon as he knows I have it! I secretly hoard extra cash and splurge at Bath and Body Works after Christmas when they're clearing all the best scents out for the new year!

7: Favourite toppings on a pizza?

Bacon, Onions and Pepperoni...and extra cheese and sauce! (It has to be worth it if I'm gonna bother!)

8: What is on your mouse pad?

I don't use a mouse pad!

9: Farthest you have been from home?

Aruba

10: Do you like your handwriting?

If I'm not in a rush, absolutely. If I am in a rush, not so much.
