So first buy a SDM GC , then use that to buy other products, you get slightly more points by doing that

shoppers are smart too. they hide the chocolates since this redeem points are still going on =). i didnt know you can use your points to buy the chocolates and still earn n points ..

It's not just Shoppers that are hiding the cadbury bars it's other hoarders too, I watched one guy load up a basket with over a hundred bars and the turn the cardboard display around so it was facing the wall. (he was probably suprised to come back to an empty rack as I took my 112 bars(enough for a redemption)

That's just RUDE! I gave some random guy bars out of my basket so he could get some points and he was very excited. He only wanted 20 but someone had cleared them out and I mean cartloads of choc for one person.

Luckily I found a stash of dusty 1/2 melted Caramilks...

Is anyone worried about Shoppers taking back the points for this promotion? It says in the terms and conditions of the Bonus Redemption ad that it's not to be combined with any other offers. I did this earlier today, but now I'm getting nervous! Should I transfer the remaining points in my account to a family member? I would be so upset if SDM took the points away from me!

I guess only time will tell. Hopefully everyone will be fine. Transfering won't help much since they can see who you transfered to. If they want them back, they'll get them no matter where you hid them. I'd probably just sit tight and wait it out. The fewer transactions you cause on your card = probably the better. It's sort of like the whole Napster thing - if they pick someone to make an example of, you don't want it to be you. But really - I'm sure it'll all be ok. They'll fix their system and carry on.

A Shopper's rep posted on Facebook that you CAN earn bonus points on a redemption. They also said typically you can't, which to me means usually you can't, but with this you could.

Someone else told me before this promotion even started that you don't earn regular points, but you can earn bonus points.

If they were smart, they wouldn't claw back points. Stick a limit on how many you can buy.

OK. I’m very confused about the Cadbury Chocolate deal! Canyou buy like, for example 80 chocolate bars and get 160,000 points or are youonly allowed to 8000points per transaction no matter how many you buy? When Iwent to my shoppers they said limit 1 per house hold, is this true or are theymaking this stuff up?
