DS then and now -- They grow so fast in so little time!

This is not so much a brag, but was in such disbelief today that I couldn't help but share.

My little monkey is turning into a little boy faster than I ever imagined he would. :yikes:

Today I was going through his dresser and at the very bottom of it found the exact outfit that he wore on his first birthday (March/13th).
The top was 24months and the pants were 18months. The pants made it to the bottom of the dresser because after his birthday I couldn't even get them over his thighs! :lolsign:

Well I figured hey why not try it on, pants are a bit short tho...

At 11months he was 36lbs and wearing a size 18/24 so I gave away all of his old clothes thinking they wouldn't fit anymore. Boy was a dumb to do that :yikes:

Yeah, it's amazing how much they change over such a short period of time! And once they start walking and moving, they usually slim down a bit so clothes last a bit longer! :)

36 pounds at 11 months? That would be something like the size 4 range!

DS1 was wearing size 3 tops when he was less than 18 months old...and was able to wear those same tops for two years!

What a sweetie! I am sure you noticed the same difference with diapers...once kids are walking and more mobile they can go down a size.

It is crazy how fast they change, sometimes I try to hold him like he's my little newborn and it's just not the same :lolsign:

Even at 36lbs he was 33inches so he never quite got out of 24mths . Though he couldn't wear long sleeves because they didn't fit over his little popeye arms and I could only put sweats on him otherwise he couldn't crawl or move around that well.

Same goes for diapers though, I had him at size 6 for a month or two, but now he's back down to a size 5. I did have him back in 4's however the absorbency was not holding at ALL so increased to the size 5's. I'm quite bummed because I still have two boxes of size 6 that I highly doubt will get used up :(
