Help pls...BC Telus or Shaw Internet/TV???

Hi..I am totally new to the world of paying for cable or internet services...but i dont know where to go???

I recently swiched from Shaw to Telus. Telus offered me a deal and Shaw wouldn't match it. Both land up costing close to the same but Telus offered me a laptop and 6 months at $49.27 for tv, pvr rental, internet, and home phone line (then it goes up to $92.54). Now Shaw is sending me offers every week. It probably pays off to switch back and forth.
