    My son, in his last year, is helping organize the Terry Fox Run at his high school.

    Hope everyone finds some way to get involved in this amazing cause .

    I'm going on a mini getaway with my 2 best friends in October! Just for the weekend, and only to Kingston but we're staying in a hotel and I couldn't be more excited!!

    Did a random act of kindness - helped out a older man in a motorized scooter who asked if I could go in a store to buy him his snack (gave me $2 for a can of pepsi and some chips). Got that for him, gave him his change back, and wished him a good day. Even though that did put me back a bit late to work, it felt good to do something for a fellow human being who asked for help.

    DH jogged the full 10 K and met his personal goal of surviving it!!

    He didn't stop for the entire run (or so he says). I'm sure he didn't, because if he did, I would have caught up with him!

    I'm quite proud.
