2. Favorite place to be? Seadooing on Georgian Bay with DH or hiking with my dogs
3. One thing you wish you could do if you had the time/money/motivation- (Be out of DEBT!!! lol) Volunteer full time
4. Which SC member do you wish you could meet & spend an evening with? Many- Why just pick one?
5. Favorite childhood toy? I never really played with toys. Loved books and cards and wandering in the woods
6. Any phobias? Hate talking on the phone. . . wish it weren't so. . .

8. If you had one power, which one would you want? To Heal people
9. Do you have a bucket list? If so what is one of the things you want to do? To volunteer more, Travel in Europe, Learn carpentry, be a better friend

1.Favorite snack food? haha.The conscientious angel side of me says a plain rice cake with a teeny smattering of peanut butter on it makes a good snack. The "waistline be DAMNED!" alter ego me is happily accepting donations for lonely cheesecake...or ice cream of any flavour. It's a constant battle between good and evil around here.

2. Favorite place to be? On a quiet beach watching the waves roll in and out.

3. One thing you wish you could do if you had the time/money/motivation. Travel more, for sure!!

4. Which SC member do you wish you could meet & spend an evening with? Oh boy. Just one? There's lots of folks I find interesting on here. Natalka is one. Alicia is another. Oh..and PattySmyth. Her posts are always thoughtful and hilarious to read.

5. Favorite childhood toy? I had a castle with a carriage and a drawbridge and a dungeon that I got when I was 5. I thought that was totally cool!

6. Any phobias? Heights- sort of. I can't stand to be up high when it's contingent on my own merit to get safely up or down from said high place. ie. I can't climb a ladder or go rock climbing. When someone else built it, though, I have no issues (ie. CN tower, roller coasters etc) And mice. OMG. Mice!!!! *jumps on kitchen chair* Just the though of the little buggers makes me squirrely.

7. Musical guilty pleasure? Anything and everything Leonard Cohen

8. If you had one power, which one would you want? Invisibility.

9. Do you have a bucket list? If so what is one of the things you want to do? No bucket list. I probably should make one; I just haven't grappled with the idea that one day I won't be on this planet. lol. It's an avoidance thing, I guess.

10. Favorite SC section? General Discussion including Tea Room, Parents Section, and Food Section.

Stairs with the holes in them and escalators lol I get all shaky on them.

AWE!!! Vee I remember at the mall you didn't want to go on the open stairs and I had to reassure you that neither of us could actually fit through those holes. You are SO cute!! <3

Paralyzing fear of driving over bridges (diagnosed with Severe Anxiety Disorder this past year and this is one thing I haven't been able to overcome yet...but I will persevere and do it!!) and snakes

awe *hugs* i have anxiety as well although it is under control now. just remember most of it is in your head and once you get over that bridge you will be SO proud of yourself

Of the things I currently CAN eat: PC Lactose Free Neopolitan Ice Cream on a Waffle Cone, Fresh Popcorn (not microwaved) & the Butter Tarts from my favorite Gluten Free, Vegan Bakery

ummm ... in bed with my husband ....

3. One thing you wish you could do if you had the time/money/motivation
Buy a new house without any memories of my ex in it, refinish furniture bc I love that shabby chic look but am so damn lazy, work less & spend more time with my 3 boys

4. Which SC member do you wish you could meet & spend an evening with?
Lua. Because we talk almost every day and it feels absurd that we've never met.
PattySmyth & Lynn49 for almost the same reason

I also wish I had had the chance to meet NancyM she seemed like such a good woman.

5. Favorite childhood toy?
BARBIE. I mean I had Barbies out the wazoo. With an entire duffle bag full of clothes and accessories. I also had a My Little Pony castle that had a perfume mister at the top and you'd squeeze it and a little puff of fragrance would come out. It was so fun

6. Any phobias?
I have a complete mental block when it comes to throwing up. After spending 18 months throwing up 10+ daily (2 pregnancies) ... even the slightest bit of nausea sends me into a crying tailspin.
Otherwise being an anxiety survivor sometimes little things can scare me but I try and step up and do them anyways just to prove I've changed.

Going back and changing the past? lol ... nah, then I wouldn't have my 2 gorgeous kids...

Learn to drum enough to keep up with my drummer hubby.

Natalka, I hope your dentist appointment went well.I read on another thread you had an appointment today and then on this thread that it is a phobia for you. Hopefully your home and it's all over with!

Well, it's over and done, that's the best thing I can say. Thank goodness for a very understanding dentist and wonderful nurse who already know with what they are dealing concerning me. The nurse knows that even when it's done, I'm drenched in sweat, I get the shakes, and start crying - just a release from all that anxiety.
I go back in two weeks, though...
