-go walk the sidewalks of Chinatown on a busy Saturday afternoon with huge golf umbrella :yikes:
-finally get to those eating and drinking joints you've been meaning to
-dress for it and just get out and about as if it was a nice day... False Creek Ferries... Granville Island... Havana Cafe on Commercial Drive... Lonsdale Quay... Vancouver Aquarium... go see a rain forest while it's raining...(take the trail to Beaver Lake in Stanley Park)... check out the skunk cabbage... Yaletown... go to the top of Grouse Mountain where it will be snowing and just hang out in the lodge and drink and eat and see the movie... go to the Pumpjack bar and hang out with and get drunk with the leather boyz... rent a car and go for a drive out to UBC along the beaches and stop along the beach somewhere and sit in the car and drink coffee and look at the rain on the beach... find a nice restaurant or bar right by the water and sit and eat and drink and look at the rain on the ocean... go see another movie at the Cineplex that is one block away... walk the seawall... get out in the elements... enjoy the fact that it's not minus 15 or 20... just get to a really natural place because the rain is more beautiful away from the traffic and the city.... deep in the rainforest... have a party... go dancing... go visit Emily Carr art school at Granville Island and see what the students are doing...
