Well today starts my next busy 4 days, work, friend from out of town is coming to visit, cleaning, hunting, shopping, and getting my Christmas lights up before we get more snow and cold. And it is my oldest's 12th Birthday on Sat where does the time go, it really does only seem like yesterday that I was holding her and changing her diapers.

Well, it is official I bought the kids Christmas presents yesterday and the gift cards I ordered for them also arrived. They always want money for Christmas and buying them other items is really hard to do. I found fabulous items for clothing on clearance yesterday (roxy, element, ect) which rocked my world. I cannot bring myself to spend $60 on a T-shirt for a name but when I cn get it for $11 heck I'm all over that. I was also really sneaky and wrapped the gift cards in small tupperware containors . I used my visa travel rewards and got them all each $25 GC's for Gasoline, Boston pizza and Cineplex.

I should be really crafty this year and instead of just giving them an envie with their much coveted cash, I might give it to them in all toonies taped to a item LMAO.

My mom did that one year to me, she taped 25 loonies all in the inside of a gift box really well instead of giving me a $25 Tim Hortons GC, was one of the only gifts I couldn't figure out it was no matter how much I shaked it, it was light and in a box - took about a hour to get them all off cause she used packaging tape
