i kinda cheated. I opened Dec 1 already. We received some gift sticky tags, 2 Dairy milk bars (one of which is the peanut butter and pretzel which ive been wanting to try), container of choc. suckers (I know you said we could have these early, Jez, but I made the kids wait! lol ) and a coupon holder with some pretty awesome coupons:) Thanks Kuponklepto! :)

It's 2am in BC. Just did one Sdm redemption and ended up getting some great deals!! Well worth it. Have enough for more redemptions but will save it for now.
And....now time to open my first gift. Today is a good day!!!

Thanks slambert :) My son loves his advent calendar (and chocolate inside, but why can't I have more mommy?) and I love the scarf!! I'll post a pic once I've had some coffee. My boy has a bad cough so was up quite a bit last night, and I'm super tired. One hour til we can go get the rest of my shopping done at SDM! I hope my list is right.

going to open my day 1 gifts shortly. we have a fairly busy weekend ahead.
today - DD's gymnastics. we were going to go to the etobicoke lakeshore santa claus parade this morning, but now that i sick the last thing i want to do is stand outside in the cold, so i think its a pass. put up the christmas tree with the help of a toddler so that will take a few hours. then we got hubby work christmas party tonight - cold medicine hear i come!
sunday - lunch at my parents then out to oshawa to and christmas party at my Nana's retirement home.
