For me:

Day 8: Vitamin Burst k Kups!!!! I have never seen these before!
Day 9: Dipped jelly bellys! Yum!
Day 10: Xma tea towels!!! Love!
Day 11: A set of cupcake themed calenders!

For Courtnee:

Day 8: Hello Kitty crayons!! She was super excited!
Day 9: Hello Kitty Body Lotion!
Day 10: 3 Scento Markers
Day 11: Glimmer Art set and stickers!

For myself these are my tricks on keeping my OOP down for this train as I know I will ride it EVERY year as long as it runs - although I may not know who my buddy will be next year I already have a couple of things stashed away for him/her as I know these items are ALWAYS on someones wishlist

1. I can stack
2. Coupons with overage - i.e Tena / Nexxus - there is always 1 coupon that has crazy overage
3. $5 Kellogg's Gas cards - started traded for these early
4. Picking up things for the next years advent train on boxing week
5. SDM Redemptions
6. Being a smart shopper, NEVER pay full price

I was just going to say the same thing! With the money we save it is such a thrill to be able to do this for one another! We all have different tips and tricks. And I know we are all having MORE fun hanging out here and making some lifelong friends sharing things that I know I wouldn't be telling a lot of people.

For me Day 10 was AWESOME - 10 PAIRS of Socks!!!! my kids are always stealing my socks, I wear the ankle sport socks to work and they get so dirty!!

OK... anyone know where to find the rules on the mini train? Thinking I will jump on now that Jez opened it up, but I want to make sure I have the time to complete it.. and can't remember the rules other than there's a homemade rule!

Hi Ladies,

I have to share the most amazing painting I received in the mail today from the super talented Slambert!

When I saw the painting she did for Coyote I contacted her and asked(it might have been begging) if she would do one for hubby and I.

As most of you know.. Max is our older doggie. He has some disc issues in his back and right now we are managing just fine with medication....

I cant thank Slambert enough... I cry every time I look at this painting... they are happy tears.

yup very simple 2 homemade gifts doesn't matter who made them :) you are not obligated to send more but you can send other items if you like :)

I was so happy with Shammi's collar that I had to write the company I ordered it from and let them know. I hope you don't mind Pumpkin I stole and sent the pic of beautiful Shammi.

I've already shopped for some times for my mini buddy but haven't baked the homemade items yet... (yes both edible, most likely)... failed craft attempt =(

I will bake this coming Sunday and then ship first thing Monday morning so that they arrive to my mini buddy asap... hoping the baked goods won't spoil on the way there!
