Okay to the tune of white Christmas song by the eternal Bing Crosby my submission
I'm dreaming of a Cheap Christmas,
Where I use coupons just like dough.
Where the money I saved glistens,
And my children for once listen
When I say no.
I'm dreaming of a cheap Christmas,
With every with every debt card I swipe,
"May your days be full of money you keep,
And may all your Christmases be cheap".
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away"
"because tomorrow is another day"

Totally agree with this! I was excited because this is the first year I've paid attention and actually had a lot of points to redeem. But I am happy I got my deal today, the manager where I was shopping did say the items I bought wouldn't be on for such a great price next week so with an increase in their prices I'd have ended up paying more out of pocket for taxes any way. And I have my Wii already set up! I will get the last of my shopping done next weekend but it isn't quite as exciting somehow lol

So I have a qustion about redemption and Im only asking here because there is so much talk going on in the SDM section right now. Last year was my first redemption and i was only able to get the $125. this year I will be able to get a full $210. My question is, do I have to get $210 first then taxes or can i do say, $195 then apply taxes so my OOP is only a few bucks???

yes you have to get the $210 full with products.. or else you lose out on the points. so basically figure on paying taxes on $210 worth of product OOP

I've seen some discussion about the Wii on here...I have LOTS of points for redemption, and am wondering if it's better to a) redeem for a Wii and Wii Fit tomorrow, b) wait for next weekend, or c) buy the stuff for the PS3 to do the dancing games etc.
What's the regular price of the Wii and the current sale price of the Wii? Anyone know? Has anyone seen the PS3 accessories in the store? (The 'eye' and the 'move' remote thingy)?

We got the PS3 the first Christmas it came out ($679 + tax! - stupid, I know, but it was the MUST HAVE gift for all three boys; Only a few were released at a time, I camped out 6 times before I got it
).
Anyway, we also have the wii and last year I WASTED my money on the MOVE for the ps3.
It sucks compared to the wii, and the kinect for xBox...They have to hold a wand and stuff for the move and it is just awkward and they did NOT like it. They do love the wii, though, and b/c I have seen so many appropriate games come out for it in the last year, they are getting their coveted xBox360 w/ Kinect this year (but shhh...it's a secret!
)
