I don't know if it's just me, but I'm thinking I must be part of a small part of the population that thinks videos of children getting hurt is NOT funny.

You must know the ones I'm talking about. They used to play them on America's Funniest Home Videos and those types of programs. I quit watching those years ago because I just don't find the humor in them! They disgust me actually!
An example would be when a child is doing some sorta funny dance and ends up going over the coffee table and landing face first onto the floor. They conveniently cut the tape there. They don't want you to see the child get up with a bloody nose and screaming bloody murder because HELLO THEY JUST GOT HURT BADLY!
Am I alone in this?

Not alone on that. I think I stopped watching some of those "video shows" for that reason. Watching someone almost breaking their neck is not funny.

I also agree and stopped watching those a long time ago becuase of the same thing - it got so that all of the video's that were suppose to be 'funny' were of people hurting themselves.

I must be a horrible person but I remember an ex boyfriend being silly and dancing around singing to his cat...well he fell down the stairs face first and as he slid down his shorts rolled off...so he was lying there at the bottom of the stairs and his butt was exposed. It was one of the funniest things I ever saw
. It's been over 10 years since it happened and I'm sitting here typing it with tears of laughter. He was fine, BTW.
K, I'll shush now
lol

I'm more referring to children and toddlers. I just don't find how when someone so innocent and cute, doing something so innocent and cute turned very bad... can be funny.
The undies coming off... now that's a nice touch. LOL

I so agree with you!
I hate to see those shows where people laugh at a cute little kid doing something innocent gone wrong.
I also hate to see when a child is doing something dangerous and no one steps in to intervene! There was one of those 'Funniest Videos' shows where the toddler had climbed up on top of the STOVE to get to something else. Nothing was done to discourage the child- what happens when the burners are hot?
