I haven't been around here in so long but have been saving my points for this! Thanks for the heads up! I sit at 55000 maybe I can jump to 95000 before then! Will make great baskets for the family.

I managed to get a $250 redemption! My first mega redemption, does it start at midnight? We have a 24 hrs SDM near me and I'd love to hit it at 1am try and beat some crowds.

Do any of your stores allow you to put an item on hold for the redemption week-ends? I really want to get my daughter a Nintendo DSi...just the basic one but my store opens at 9:00am and I can't get there because of her swimming lessons and also because my husband is working (so I can't bring her with me). I'd like to be able to go on Saturday evening and do my shopping in peace...

I've had a store let me do my entire shop 2 days before, they put it all in a box with my name on it for the Saturday :)

Wow, maybe I can talk the sweet ladies at my local SDM to do this for me, it is either that or I am hanging around town for 4 hours so I can shop after midnight before I even head home.

December 1st only..my cashier told me today :) woohoo, going to start my shopping list now

So we don't have to wait til 1 or 2 am for the registers to kick in for this or something weird like that do we? I've never done a redemption. So if I'm doing a $250 redemption, I tell the cashier that and she does the rest?

Last year I started shopping at 1130 pm and cashed out at 1215. Had no problems!! Cashier will do it all!

I have a question for some of you with enough for multiple redemptions. If the mega redemption is only 1 day and you are only permitted 2 redemptions in a day how are you planning on doing 4, 6 or more redemptions. Doesn't it look suspicious if you transfer tons of points to another card just before redemption or am I missing some angle on this.

Am new to this - I have optimum card - how does the redemption work on Dec 1st - please - I thank you for your time and expertise
