They do have 50% off but its not likely worthwhile.
We went in and spent less then $50 since it was pretty cleaned out & were were then at openning.

Since members in my family have lost their incomes recently, I'll be doing everyday household item baskets for 3 different family members plus stock up on a few things for our house as well.

Stocking stuffers for my husband and I (yes, I buy my own stocking stuff, it's the only way to guarantee I don't get a stocking full of pens and scented candles) and a few more stocking stuffers for the kids. I figure with sale prices and coupons I can spend about $50 on that stuff and then the rest will be going towards stocking up on household stuff. Laundry soap and fabric softener, toilet paper, dish soap and dishwasher soap, cleaning supplies, snacks and juice boxes for school lunches and coffee are all on the list. It depends what's on sale that week. We have a huge chest freezer so I'll probably grab a bunch of bread too.

I just broke a bronzer that I paid $35 for! I could kick myself. Oh well, I guess that I have to buy a new one at the mega redemption.

I still have no idea what I will be buying. I guess I'll just "wing it" like last year and wonder around the store for hours trying to figure it out. LOL

I have to buy almost all my presents and stocking stuff as well. Despite making a very specific list with what store sells which item and even printing out the item with a picture from that stores website somehow he manages to go off kilter. Rule is if its not on the list its not to be wrapped and under the tree.

It also happens most of the time I find the deals on stuff I am looking for. For example, I got an umbrella I really liked for $2.97 so I couldn't pass the price when it was regular $15-$20. Then I got a SCOP on purple permanent markers which were on my list so I wasn't going to say nevermind, I don't want them free. Sigh. Atleast I know I will like what I get because I picked it

Here is my list so far:
    Halo 4
    Bacon
    Eggs
    Nicorette Gum
    Recordable DVD’s
    Smartfood Popcorn/Chips
    Delissio Pizza
    Cheese Slices
    Brick Cheese X4
    Parmesan Cheese
    Downy Unstopables
    Fancy Feast
    Bottled Water
    Hungry Man Dinners
    Canned Diet Coke
    Orange Juice
    Soup
    Frozen Veggies
    Chocolate/Butterscotch Chipits
    Vinegar
    Pinesol
    Nivea Lip Chap
Clean & Clear Orange Face Liquid
    Facial Pads
    Gillette Mach 3 Razor Refills
    Peanut Butter
    Ketchup
    Halls
    Hamburgers
    Hot Dogs
    Grill Em’s Sausages
    Cheesecake
    Pizza Pops
    Clear Eyes
    Fries
    Kitchen Garbage Bags
    Skin Tag Remover
    Janes Chicken Strips or Nuggets
    Sunmaid Bread
    Kelloggs Crisps
    Alka Seltzer
    SOS Pads

    Maybe List
    Shake ‘n bake
    Fish
    Alfredo Sauce
    Parchment Paper
    Spaghetti Sauce
    Milk
    Butter
    Buckley’s
    Neocitrin

I wouldn't mind if it were something useful but I stopped keeping candles around when the kids were babies and decided that they made good projectiles. There was the year that I flat out told him I wanted a stand mixer and one of the women he works with convinced him to buy me this gift set she was selling through Avon instead. My sister works for Sephora, I have more free makeup and skin care stuff than I will ever need and it's high end stuff too. I needed Skin So Soft like I needed a hole in the head.

I definitely bought several first generation Nanos there--- they may not sell the computers, but they have definitely sold some of their products.

I did some research on the internet on SDM selling iPods and found out that many years ago they did and Apple refused to sell to SDM and so that relationship stopped. Who knows, with Sony and the video games so entrenched, maybe they will renew the relationship (I hope!)
