The one thing that I really want is an MP3 player but I don't think SDM is selling that.

If my SDM will do it, I've decided that I will ask them to preorder me 6 refill packs of the Enfamil formula. That should take us until babe is drinking homo milk. It'll take up 1 whole redemption all by itself!

My store MGR had no issue ordering me 3 cases of formula (18 cans) for this past weekend remdemption. With the rain check price and the coupons that expire Nov. 30 it was better for me to redeem now than in December. I would ask, the worst they can say is no.

Last year during Mega we bought the Polaroid one with the DVD in it and love it. Not sure of the size, its not very big but works great for the kids. I think it was 199.99.

i am a little worried that I may not be able to do this one. I have eye surgery on the Wednesday before so I am at the mercy of DH to drive me, I am sure I I let him have some points he will be OK with that. I have enough to a redemption, last year I had enough for 3 X 250 and 1x 125. I was just not that into SDM this year but wiill still be able to spend the money.
We are not looking for anything big ticket this year so i will wander around. Last year I was the crazy one lined up at 7AM for the net book and as someone else said don't bother, the child hardly uses it and it would have been better to get the lap top, but he is saving for his own laptop.
lots of good ideas on the lists, thanks all.

I'm hoping to get a DSi and a couple of games. From there, I may get some make-up as well as meds and sunscreen for our trip down south this winter.

My issue is that my husband works on redemption week-end so I'm going to have to get a babysitter so I can go shopping. He gets off at 7:00pm but I'm afraid by that point, all of the good electronics will be gone.

Could someone tell me the breakdown of how much the points are worth again. Regular 8,000 = $10. What about for bonus redemption and mega redemption. Thanks in advance. Just trying to see if its worth it to get another 1/2 redemption in.

    • 8,000$ 10
    • 22,000$ 30
    • 38,000$ 60
    • 50,000$ 85
    • 95,000$ 170

What is a bonus redemption day?
Several times a year Shoppers optimum runs a promotion where you get more money off for your redemption. If you redeem 50,000pts you get $100 off (instead of $85) and if you redeem 95,000pts you get $200 off (instead of $170). Some times these events are for the entire store (with exceptions) and sometimes they are for cosmetics and fragrances only. Once so far, they've been mega redemptions which got you even more. No idea if they'll do it again though. These are also great times to use any mail in rebates that you have. As with everything in life, it is subject to change. "

    MEGA REDEMPTION

    50,000 = 125$
    95,000 = 250$
