I usually send various cards throughout the year to my family, especially nieces and nephews. I don't think that I would spend a lot on Hallowe'en cards, but it's fun for children to get cards in the mail.

I think I'd be thrilled to get a Hallowe'en card, though I can't see myself buying them -- especially at card store prices!

I wouldn't personally want to wish family members a happy halloween. Is it even really a holiday? I mean whats the meaning of Halloween? Eat lots of candy? I wouldn't be sending a card for that.
With that being said, to each their own. You want to spend $5+ on a card then you go right ahead! I'll keep my monies :)
