My birthday came and went this year without fanfare (pregnancy and feeling like crap will do that!), and the bit of money I got from relatives paid our hydro bill so I am really not the best person to ask, I guess. I was feeling sick, so we didn't even go out for supper.
That said, I would spend it on a dinner out with my DH as there is absolutely nothing that I need or want. If I was the kind of person that liked that type of thing, I would also say a nice trip to a spa or treating yourself to a nice haircut and manicure... just something frivolous you wouldn't do otherwise! ;)

A pendant from Costco. They had a circular white gold and diamond one that I was drooling over a few weeks ago... $649.00.
A few years ago, I might just have taken a deep breath and gone ahead and bought it! However, after moving into a new house last year, going on maternity leave for nine months, needing to to a pension buyback to cover the maternity leave, and buying a new vehicle at the end of August after not having had car payments at all for seven years, I'm now attempting to exercise restraint! I hate the fact that I have car payments, and am already feeling like I should be paying the vehicle off as quickly as possible!
Anyway, if your husband is looking to buy you a really nice gift, check out the jewellery case at Costco. ;-)

Single game tickets for my hubby and I to one home-game in every NFL
field there is! Except for Oakland and Dallas. Gag.
