The RCSS ad is for Clover Leaf Light or Flavoured Tuna, 85-170g. The tear pad coupons (as well as the Websaver ones) are for the gourmet line. Just because the 142g weight falls within the RCSS ad fine print does not make them the same product.
Of course, this is just my interpretation. That being said, I will not be pricematching.
Gourmet Chunk White Tuna – JALAPEÑO in Olive Oil
Gourmet Chunk White Tuna – CHIPOTLE in Olive Oil
Gourmet Chunk White Tuna - SUNDRIED TOMATO in Olive Oil

I guarantee you will not find the gourmet flavoured for $1 at RCSS. That's not what's being advertised.

The one advertised on RCSS flyer is http://www.cloverleaf.ca/en/products...picyThaiChili/ spicy thai 85 grams, so it's not the same product.
Even if someone can get WM to PM that, the coupon is for 142 grams product.Last edited by Decaf; Tue, Oct 16th, 2012 at 09:45 PM.

Well I, along with many others, (who have also pm-ed me thanking me for posting my tuna score so they could score the same thing) will be price matching at Wal-mart, since they okay'ed this deal for me this week with superstores current flyer. It is up to walmarts discretion whether they will allow a price match or not. Since it fell within the same gram range, and I was using the correct coupon for the product, and there was no coupon misuse, they allowed it. Checked with a manager. I'm pretty sure they wanted me to spend my money there instead of spending it at another store. So, was Wal-marts interrpretation wrong then? Just like some walmarts were/are accepting "rexall coupons" as a price match, and some weren't. There is no right or wrong. Interrpretation is actually a great word to use! It's up to the store's manager, as I have found it differs here from store to store, and obviously province to province as well, whether pertaining to the use of printables, putting limits on items, (stacking at superstore - using a cz and a mf) or in this case price matching. The rules are different in every single store....
sooo, why can't we all agree to interpret it the way we each want to interpret it?

I don't eat this tuna and I don't think I'd like it. But wondering if Clover Leaf uses sustainable fisheries? Anyone see a logo on their labels?
