Unless any 10lb bag of carrots is the same brand of a smaller bag of carrots and is known to have full carrot flavour, avoid the bagged carrots in regular produce sections. I bought the 5lb bag of carrots (regular produce section, not organic) packed in Canada at Fortino's last week--uniform colour, look nice, barely any carrot flavour. My carrot soup was made edible by the butter, onions and dried tarragon included but I would have liked more carrot flavour.

Lesson learned-avoiding bagged carrots for now.
