Superstore Sickness!!!

Just had the most "disgusting" shopping experience at Superstore.... so mad when I got home I posted my experience on my blog.
Has anyone else been treated this way???? Uhhhhh!!!!!

You experience sucks. They really should think twice about the way they're treating their customers. Hearing all these stories makes me scared of ever trying to coupon.

You have definitely had a bad experience, but, here in Red Deer, I have never had any issues with using printed or multiple coupons at "that" store. Maybe it was just that manager trying to "push their power"?

Well you are lucky Truly blessed , I have nothing but problems with the Red Deer store. I am a very polite shopper and don't argue if a coupon is refused but in the last few months they question everything. I have been declined twice in the last few weeks using a coupon with a pink sticker item.i will only go there for small purchases and go through self checkout in the mornings.The girl who works then is amazing, and they do have a few nice staff but in general I hate going there because no one is on the same page as far as policy goes.I emailed head office to find out if I could use a coupon with a pink sticker-ed item and explained the difficulty I have been having and all I received back was a copy of the coupon policy which doesn't help as it doesn't address the problem I am having.There are way too many stores to shop at to give them my business.

I guess I have not used a coupon on a pink sticker item so not sure of those issues, I meant coupons in general...I too hate going there but for other reasons and yes, I agree, plenty of stores that treat me well and want my business

i had that happened to me at walmart before, if you can find my post on the rant section, once they see the "same numbers" appears on more than one coupon, they automatically think its photocopy! that is how "some people" see them as.

Oh - they must have been doing some cleaning up of staff when they remodeled on Vancouver Island. I was in Duncan on Wednesday (which by the way must be the day of discounts there) and looked at my purchases. The entire tray was full and over 1/2 had the discount pink stickers. I also had a few coupons for those items - and there was absolutely no problem. My cashier even commented that a whole binder of coupons accompanies her when she goes shopping.

When I have coupons or price matching; I ALWAYS go to Walmart over The Superstore. I went to the Superstore once and they gave me a hard time and when you price match, they take your flyer and rip out the item that you matched from the flyer :/ I thought that was so odd. I feel like their staff is undertrained. They don't know their own policies and the individuals in management that I've bumped into have such a HUGE ego (everyone is different so I don't want to give everyone a bad rep; I just haven't been fortunate enough to encounter friendly individuals at that store). One time was enough for me. I only go there when I'm bored because I enjoy the whole set-up of the store (a lot more appealing than Walmart). You can score some good deals there in their clearance racks and what not and I enjoy the Joe Fresh clothing line. That being said, I visit maybe once every few months LOL.
