bought some arm and hammer with oxi clean a while back it ended up with a few bleach spots on a few shirt- just faint so didnt worry about it but then, it only happened on the biegey brown coloured clothes, blue is ok!
bought new beige sheets, washed them first and they ended up with " bleached out" streaks on them same thing happened on some brand new brown towels
Did contact the company and they requested to return the bottle so did that
they told me there is no bleach in my bottle so it was not the detergent and to look for another cause, therefore they would not replace my brand new sheets
we dont use bleach or softner in our laundry
isnt oxi a form of bleach or peroxide?
anyone have any ideas? This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Did you try the sheet company? Maybe it was a flaw with the sheets?
Also, just wondering, is it a machine just used by you or do you share it with others? Like an apartment laundry?Try out the maven box by julep And code FREEFB, and get your box for one cent:

here's the list of ingredients, you can google each one to see if used in bleaching preparations, sodium borate is one.

Hum, I wonder about this because we have two towels with what appear to be bleach spots on them and we can't figure why. We recently started using Arm & Hammer soap.

There's another thread in here started by sweetnlow and the consensus is the same. The a&h detergent with Oxi causes discolouration. I haven't had this problem with the Oxi powder, but there's definitely a price difference! A&h is so cheap!

Oh no, sorry to hear that I love my A&H liquid detergent, and paid only $1 with the BOGO coupons a while back. I do hope that you can figure something out though
