New to area....advice

hey all, i hope this is in the right place (please move it if its not). i just moved back to the rock and i have never couponed here before...i feel so nervous. Is there anything i should know (ie- certain locations of stores to avoid at all costs, ect). also is there a local coupon group that meets up to swap at all?

I find Shoppers Drug Mart on Torbay Road/MacDonald Drive good. No Frills is brutal. Sobeys is pretty good - over $10 and you need a supervisor, Dominion is rather picky so I avoid as much as possible.
