    Has anyone heard if SDM will be having another GC promotion, similar to last year around this time?

    The GC promo was Nov. 4 - 18th last year, with points awarded by No. 25th.

    didn't they announce the promotion on the last week of october last year? or am i just getting anxious???, i know that the promotion was in middle of of nov and points added before redemtions , i am really looking forward to hear something about the promotion this year

    I have a question about the gift card promo. Yes I have looked at the provided link to see what I want. I personally buy A LOT of the pre paid Visa gift cards. Would buying that type of card work for this promo? Thanks!

    If you already buy the Visa Gift cards, then yes that would work. Personally I wouldn't do it as there is that fee. That dreaded fee.
    But if it is something you already do then it is a great time to do it.

    I really hope they have this again. I didn't get in on it last year but it is so worth it. I gave everyone money last year and if I had given them gift cards instead I could have gotten a lot of points! Fingers crossed!

    nothing yet? I'm losing hope and may have to purchase any holiday GC's through another point program. Does anyone know if Sobeys give points on GC purchases?

    There are no points for gift cards at Sobeys.Petro Canada and Esso gas stations give points for gift cards.Safeway sometimes has bonus Airmiles for gift cards except the Safeway gift cards.
