is anyone else having a problem with shockwave crashing when you try to watch SBTV? this started for me last night on my laptop, with both chrome and firefox - so I switched to my chromebook and it was fine. I spent all this morning trying to sort things out on my laptop, all to no avail. So I just fired up my chromebook again, and now flash keeps crashing on it too! the only thing I can think of is that there was a recent update (to what, I don't know - either flash or sbtv I guess)

since I'm experiencing this on both my laptop and chromebook, I think that eliminates any computer problems - and the chromebook isn't really a computer anyway, just a machine that runs chrome...

so annoying!!

eta: I just did an experiment and loaded up another site that uses shockwave and it's fine! I remember reading on the U.S. wall of someone saying their shockwave was crashing too when playing sbtv - I wonder if SBs is rolling out some changes to the player - it's weird how sbtv was fine on my chromebook last night, but keeps crashing today

the meter still moves, but I don't want to get into trouble for running it when the videos don't play

well what the heck is going on?? this is going to make a major dent in my earnings! I can make goal by running the apps, but still!

ok, I think I figured it out - it's the ads (or a specific ad) - I had adblock disabled on my laptop for sbtv so that the ads would play (didn't want to get in trouble for blocking the ads) but I forgot to disable it last night when I switched to my chromebook and sbtv played fine - but this morning when I switched again to my chromebook I disabled adblock, and that's when shockwave started crashing when I played sbtv

I reenabled adblock on my chromebook and so far so good - I'll try again later on my laptop, but I really think this is it (the ads)

now that I've scanned, system restored, uninstalled and re-installed, swore, and kicked it across the room
