Around dinnertime yesterday I started feeling kind of crappy...by bedtime I was in full-blown "I have a miserable cold" mode.
Managed to get a little sleep (God bless the makers of Advil Cold and Sinus) hoping I'd be able to shake it off. Woke up at five and haven't been able to get back to sleep...and feel like the walking dead.
So sad. A friend found the Glade MIRs we all looked for last week and I was excited to go get candles.
Ah, well. Saving a few dollars would be great, but not important enough for me to make everyone else sick too.

Employers are responsible for providing a workplace that meets health and safety laws.
Here’s what the Ontario Ministry of Labour says,
Employers must:
•• Do everything reasonable in the circumstances to protect workers from being hurt or getting a work-related illness. The entire poster, “Health and Safety at Work”, is here with the contact telephone numbers if you need them.

Thanks! I kind of learned the hard way.
I once - unwittingly - went to the office with pneumonia for about a week.
At the time, I was a heavy smoker, and the worst of the "cold" part was gone and I knew that after seven days or so I was no longer contagious (assuming it had actually been a cold)...I just figured, well, Screamy, if you're going to be dumb enough to smoke, s**t happens; no wonder you sound like you're hacking up a lung. I felt draggy, but no fever, sneezing, etc. Just an obnoxious cough and zombie fatigue.
We were in the middle of a major project that I was needed on, but after about three days, one of my coworkers went to my boss and asked him to ask me to go to the MD (I guess she was afraid to tell me herself, LOL). He did, so I went...and surprise! I had "walking pneumonia" in four lobes.
You could have knocked me over with a feather; I had no idea - I had never even heard of it. Of course then I felt stupid for having not gone to the MD, but you always hear "There's nothing we can do for you with a cold; it's a virus, wait it out and drink lots of fluids, etc.", so I figured why bother, they're just going to tell me what I already know.
I felt even worse about all the people I'd been near, shared door handles and so forth with. Luckily, no one at my office contracted it. No idea about the rest of downtown Toronto though (even though I'm always careful not to cough or sneeze on people).
Any number of the GTAers can attest to my now-compulsive hand-sanitizer use. LOL. And I work from home whenever I feel crappy now.

Unfortunately my local Superstore was closed this afternoon because it lost power.
Sadly I had some taxable items I wanted to get too.

Thank you for the heads up. Even though it rained and was so miserable today...I had to go push myself to visit for the first time .I now believe what people say about the board filled with coupons :0... only saw it myself today ... completely shocked . But no tax was a bonus to my couponing..ended up grabbing 4 of those 4 pack dove soap bars , 2 body wash, and tampons , couple cough drops and ritz for only 19$ ...not bad but all the dove was only 88cents .. im happy . Thanks again for your heads up i saved $4 in tax ... woot!!!!
