3% on new deposits in your savings accounts, until end of September, still earn 3% till end of November. Pretty good deal considering the ohhhh-so-low rates nowadays!
Is this true??? Just noticed the int. rate is now .8 on my TFSA etc.
Wow, yes it is true. Have other banks dropped, too?
I'm still giving anyone who uses my Orange Key when they open up their Tangerine account (and deposit $100) an extra $35 on top of the $50 that Tangerine will give you. So $85 in your pocket for 5 minutes work.
Message me with any questions!
Thanks!

Does anyone have experience with transferring money to your external linked account? It is instant? Or close to?
I need to book a flight and do not want my money tied up for days.
Thanks, hopefully someone can help/ I know I could call and I did but the wait time was too long and I had to make other calls for this last minute business trip.
I phoned and THIS offer ONLY went out to certain clients ( or so I was told? ) They said they could not offer me that rate, so I told them I shall be using other more appreciative banks to save my money and earn interests. They have really lost me as a customer now.
Whatttt!!!!!! Since when do they selectively send out offers! People's trust still have a decent rate...!
Vw_girl it takes about one business day for me to transfer from TD and Tangerine so long as you make the transfer before the end of the business day i.e. transfer before 4pm one day and its in your account by 4pm the next day. I can't really speak to other banks. If it is a large amount they may wait a few days to make sure the transaction is legit but that is standard across banks to prevent fraud.
Thanks for the feedback. I found the option to e-transfer and used that instead. I hate having money stuck in limbo for days when you really need it!
I was thinking about switching from TD to Tangerine. Where can one take out money from without being charged for it?
