Put me down for nothing too! :lolsign:
Handing out treats! I love seeing the kids in costumes!
I really miss taking our son out trick or treating; we always had so much fun!
It's going to be cold, here, though - might impact the numbers, but it's hard to tell.
Same here. I can't handle it. It basically drives me up the wall...
The main road is closed so I'm taking the brood out TorTing round the shops there. There's a few houses in the area that also hand out the candy. The local dentists hand out toothbrushes though.
For everyone to enjoy - but especially for Skippy!

Actually I usually partake and hand out candy, and I even bought candy this year. The thing is I'm quite stressed of late and when I go home I just like relaxing and I really dislike the idea of running to the door all the time. So I'm gonna be a grumpy Gus, and hoard the candy to myself. My fiancé thinks it is quite convenient that I bought my favourite candy, but honestly, I did intend to. Honest!
It will be a busy one today!! Bring treats to my granddaughter's class at noon. My youngest turns 15 today so a house load of teenagers after school for supper and then transporting them to a movie , and of course give out treats as long as we are home. Spent an hour de-icing the side walk yesterday so I don't have any of the little ones wipe out coming to the door. I will sleep well tonight!!
i normally hand out candy, even til the last of the grown teenagers with no costumes stop coming lol
tonight however, i will only be trick or treating with the kids. hubby is back this afternoon after being away on a very tiring 3 week trip. he will be totally wiped, in fact he has a fever and is fighting a cold, so i won't make him hand out candy tonight :)
Have a safe and fun day and night everyone!
I will hand out some candy. We normally get between 0 and 5 kids coming to our house (5 was a major record last year!). I would normally just open up a box of DH's nutrigrain bars to hand out, but he decided that we *needed* to have chocolate bars to pass out so he bought a box of 100+ bars and treats, all chocolate. Now, seeing as I am allergic to chocolate, I wonder if there was any ulterior motive to that decision on his part????? ;)
Edit: DH did point out to me that the 100+ count box had a much lower unit cost per bar than the box of just 40 chocolates did. He rationalized that he was saving money by buying in bulk ;) (regardless of the fact that he doesn't really need any of it)
I do recall you mentioning that you would be having some major deadlines for your research and thesis this fall. I hope that it hasn't got you too stressed out. Although I know that the more you do now, the faster it'll be done, don't forget to get up from the computer every once in a while.... I almost completely missed going outside in the month of March this year (although I hear it was quite nice!).... ;)
And yes, very convenient about the type of candy. ;) I might just buy some of my favourites (sour gummies or strawberry-flavoured Nibs or strawberry-flavoured Starburst) on Thursday or the weekend, although not as much as DH decided he needed!! :)
I am dressed up as a witch right now for work lol were having a costume party at noon.
Tonight, dressing up the dog, and going to the pet store - they are giving away doggy treat bags to dressed up dogs lol
