They usually don't do much

They almost never discount their products ..they might throw in a freebie like an overpriced accessory or a free itunes card or something.

Infact other retailers like WM , BB etc which sell Apple products have cheaper prices or discounts on Apple products then Apple's own store or Apple's own website

Last year they had some kind of 10% off sale (though it could have been less than that) and I think it was on Cyber Monday. I remember the MacBook/iMac was like $50-$100 off. It was less than the tax on it pretty much. This was also last year, so I don't know if they'd be repeating it this year.

If there is no discount of any kind, try talking to the guys at future shop. When we bought our iPhones they threw in two lifeproof cases for free which were $80 at the time.

They have a sale every year. But, like the pp said it's not very much. If you are looking into buying a Mac computer it's probably the best time to do so. (but only expect $50-$200 depending on item)

As a side note, if you don't care to wait for shipping Best Buy will price match the apple.ca price. I would suggest going as soon as they open before they change their price to avoid giving the extra 10% difference.

Staples has 50 bucks of their Ipad2's , which is not bad if you go for the lowest one which is 399.99 ..so 349.99 after discount

saw that thanks, walmart in the usa has ipad 2 with a 75 walmart gift card. hoping they do that here. where's the flyers peeps? lol

thats a sick deal. FYI, the ipad 2 is just as good as the 3!! dont spend the extra unless you really care about the retina display. works just the same! especially if you just use it to mainly browse.

Just as good? Yeah sure, except it has double the resolution, double the speed, and double the memory.

Your best ipad deal right now is the ipad 3 sell offs since that model is being discontinued. But if you are going to pay a premium for apple, why get anythibg but the latest model really? If you want to be frugal, don't buy apple.
