Im on the phone waiting for customer service, and its taking forever, I assume people across the country are calling them up about it right now. Make sure its 40% off and not like 10% off cause im pretty sure the code is not right.

**** I placed an order early this am & when I looked online my bill was slightly over $100 BUT then I looked at the confirmation email, and the 40% off/free shipping DID NOT apply to items being shipped to Canada from the AE.com website....they charged me a broker fee, HST & took away my free shipping bonus??
I called customer service immediately and cancelled my order without problem, but just be forewarned that this may happen to your order. Perhaps ordereing from AE.ca might make all the difference. I'm going to try that now...Oh, and I did check my tracking number online to be sure it was cancelled and it was...

MORAL of the story...be prepared to pay HST & a broker fee to have your items shipped to Canada if you buy from AE.COM...flip it to the Canada website to avoid these fees but pay slightly more for the product.

i used to live in the states...and with their their old reward program i could buy stuff every few months at 40% off with free shipping...pretty much only wore AE back then...those were the days!
