A Woohoo Always Brag At Shoppers Drugmart!!!

I usually don't shop at Shoppers as much as I use to but wanted to check out a new location so not sure if this deal was for this store for opening but...
They had a sign for Always Pads on sale for 7.99 but if you had your point card 4.99(reg 8.99)
It was kinda of confussing on what was on sale and what wasn't so I just scooped anything that was 8.99
I asked the cashier to please make sure on the prices BEFORE we put in coupons ect
So we did she said not all of them are on sale I said well which ones are very confussing
Low and behold she didn't know and she couldn't leave her till blah blah(no one was behind me)
She pointed to the merchindiser so off I go even though I felt like saying forget it
I took her over showed her the sign showed her all the products and she said I should be getting it for 4.99
She said take the sign with you to the front
As I am now finally getting somewhere a bigger light bulb comes on that I will also get a scop for one product!!
So back in line I go(annoying that I know I have to wait again)
Showed the same cashier the sign and said I should also get one for free.....she said what? I said there scanning wrong so I get one for free(I usually don't do scop's I get too chicken so after many years glad I pushed for right price and scop) she scratched her head I said it is the scanning code of practice I get it one for free(she has worked there for YEARS you think she would know) So finally another one came( I gather a supervisor) and had no problems she did my whole ring up

I usually pay 3.99 for the small little packs so this was very exciting I find it really stupid paying high prices for something we DO NOT enjoy going through!!!!(and taxes to boot) With 2 in our house these will go over well for a little while!!!!!

yes, I agree, why should we have to pay such insane prices when we already suffer enough every month?!

Luckily I wait until O.B. goes on sale for $2 and then use my call-ins. I've got a nice little stockpile going but there is only one of me so luckily I don't have to worry about outfitting any other women/teens

I think you should have gotten one of each product for free. Each item with a different UPC scanned wrong should be Free to my knowledge. A month or so ago I purchased 2 boxes of Ritz crackers, regular and sour cream. Since they have different UPC, I got them both for free when they scanned up the wrong price.
